A powerful earthquake struck the northeast coast of Japan late on December 8, 2025, triggering tsunami warnings and causing widespread concern — including among fans of the Indian actor Prabhas. At the time, he was in Japan for the special screening of Baahubali: The Epic.
Amid swirling anxiety on social media, film director Maruthi stepped in to reassure everyone: “Spoke to Darling — he is not in Tokyo and is safe.” Prabhas later confirmed he was unharmed.
Though the quake measured 7.5–7.6 on the Richter scale and shook coastal Japan, thankfully no harm came to the actor. Fans around the world can now relax — Prabhas is safe and sound.
