Ahead of the grand Hanuman Jayanti celebrations in Hyderabad, Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar has reviewed extensive security arrangements to ensure a smooth and peaceful yatra.
A high-level coordination meeting was held with officials and organizers, focusing on crowd management, route planning, and public safety. Authorities expect around 168 processions to join the main yatra, making it one of the biggest religious events in the city.
To handle the large crowd, nearly 3,000 police personnel along with additional forces will be deployed across key areas. Organizers have been instructed to strictly follow designated routes and prepare trained volunteers for better coordination.
Special attention is being given to safety measures, especially regarding idol heights near flyovers and railway bridges to avoid any incidents during the procession.
Police have also planned traffic diversions in advance to minimize inconvenience for the public. Citizens are advised to cooperate with authorities and follow traffic guidelines.
In addition, officials warned people against spreading or believing rumors on social media, stating that strict action will be taken against misinformation.
After the meeting, Sajjanar personally inspected the 12-km yatra route from Gowliguda to Tadbund, ensuring all arrangements are in place for a peaceful celebration.
Conclusion
With tight security, proper planning, and public cooperation, Hyderabad Police aims to conduct the Hanuman Jayanti yatra safely and peacefully, continuing the city’s tradition of well-managed celebrations.
